First Aid Quick Guide

Eye Contact

Check for and remove contact lenses. Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes, keeping eyelids open. Seek immediate medical attention.

Skin Contact

Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use recognized skin cleanser. Do NOT use solvents or thinners.

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. Keep person warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or respiratory arrest occurs, provide artificial respiration or oxygen by trained personnel.

Ingestion

If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label. Keep person warm and at rest. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Respiratory

Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control worker exposure. Use properly fitted air-purifying or air-fed respirator if risk assessment indicates necessity.

Hands

Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves (nitrile rubber, butyl rubber, PVC, or Viton) should be worn when handling if risk assessment indicates this is necessary.

Eyes

Safety glasses with side shields.

Skin/Body

Personal protective equipment for the body should be selected based on the task being performed and the risks involved. Appropriate footwear should be worn.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during handling
  • Prohibit eating, drinking and smoking in areas where product is handled, stored or processed
  • Workers must wash hands and face before eating, drinking and smoking
  • Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas
  • Store contaminated materials in purpose-built containers or metal containers with tight-fitting, self-closing lids
Storage

Store at 5 to 25°C (41 to 77°F) in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials and food and drink. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use.
