Key Hazards

First Aid Quick Guide
Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, including under the eyelids. Obtain medical attention immediately.
Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Seek medical attention as risk of serious lung damage exists. Symptoms may be delayed.
Rinse mouth with water and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. If vomiting occurs naturally, have victim lean forward.
Protection Needed
When concentrations exceed exposure limits, use NIOSH/MSHA approved respirators with organic gases and vapors filters (Type A Brown). For small scale/laboratory use, use EN 149:2001 approved half masks with EN 405 valve filters or EN 140/141 filters.
Wear protective gloves made of nitrile rubber or Viton, conforming to EN 374 standards. Inspect gloves before use and follow manufacturer recommendations for breakthrough time and permeability.
Wear safety glasses with side-shields meeting European standard EN 166.
Wear long-sleeved protective clothing to prevent contact and splashing.

- Use only under a chemical fume hood with adequate ventilation
- Avoid all contact with skin, eyes, and clothing; prevent ingestion and inhalation
- Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces, and all ignition sources
- Use only non-sparking tools and explosion-proof equipment
- Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse; wash hands frequently
Store in tightly closed containers in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area designated for flammables. Keep away from heat, direct sunlight, and sources of ignition.
